I have Tilly Spayed bitch nearly 3 and Scrumpy 3 month old boy.

He is always trying to hump her, she seems to just stand there and let him. He hasnt actually 'done' anything just the action, but its getting on my nerves.

At some point we will have him done, but not till he is over a year old.

Other than say no every time, what do i do

leave him alone!allright it might be getting on your nerves but hes obviously enjoying it and if shes not growling at him she mustnt mind either. (w00t) just ignore them and let them get on with it!

I get that they are animals, but it is doing my head in

Every fecking five mins he is at it, bloody men  :- "

I totally agree with Kris

The only way he'll stop is if Tilly tells him off,& having his nuts off won't necessarily stop it either!

So why if she is a spayed female, allowing him to get jiggy??

Do i have a whippet whore  :- "

My 7 month old pups, brother and sister, hump each other all the time, as part of their play and a dominance thing..although they wouldnt dare try on my 6 year old female ( spayed whippet). The daily porn shows can be annoying but you have to leave them to it i think.

all mine usually start when they get giddy like when we first get up on a morning or say the walkies word, millie our speyed bitch humps all the boys and the boys are too busy trying to get on each others back.........theres only phoebe that is the top dog that doesnt get any humping at all, cause they wouldnt dare :p

Well if you have whippet whores.. Ive got whippet queers..  ..because my males do it to one another too.....I just tell them off...it isnt acceptable in here...

As others have said its usually when they are over excited....just before or just after a walk and soon settle down.

So what's Riley's excuse the rest of the time (w00t)  Before racing, after racing - hell even in the middle of a race if the mood takes him

 And even only whippets have to get their kicks somewhere, Zephyr LOVES his snuggle bed! :- " :b

I think it must be the fresh air cos my spayed bitches 'do it' after walks.

It doesn't seem so bad, probably for obvious reasons, when bitches do this kind of behaviour.

It is a dominance thing.

oh im getting worried spirit is now 9 months old and has never tried to hump tia dont tell me he is gay :- " (w00t)

Ditto :D

I read this post late last night, and I thought about it while I was in bed, and giggled to myself when I imagined Kim with Scrumpy when he gets a bit older, and if she doesn't calm him down soon enough - she might have to get out the bag of frozen peas    or pop it back into its skin like I have to with Sweep occasionally

Willow who is nearly 10 get a bit fruity and he been done (w00t) Beau is starting now :D and Jack trieds it on with Dale who is done :)) I,m afraid its something you have to put up with

Must be some thing in my water , cos no one in my house does any humping :- " Unless one of the gilrs are in season of course , India and Mikkee spent all their season humping each other

None of mine do it coz i dont want them to :- "
