If I get up to one more day of rain I am going to scream. We are going to book a few days away in September but I keep thinking is it even worth wastin the money as we are taking the whips and all we will be able to do if it's raining is stay in wherever we are staying or walk about in the bloody rain! Have we had one nice day this month? I don't think we have.

Here is Pax dashing in from a 2 second wee. I feel sorry for the pups being cooped up in the house and not being able to soak up the sunshine in their beds in the garden. :(

Its rubbish isn't it Lynne :( we are down in Somerset and its the same dark, windy & wet some summer eh!!!still its nice to be away for a bit :)

I can't help thinking that our weather has become similar to Scottish weather. The best months are April, May and possibly June and then it becomes rather rainy after that. I think I heard somewhere that the gulf stream has slipped down the country (w00t) .

Looking out at grey wet skies myself this morning....sigh

just wait for september when the kides are back at school the sun will come out.

its not fare :(

grey wet skys up north aswell, full rain coats on thismorning for the walk, practically had to drag my 2 to the bottom of the street :(

al least you guys down south get a wee bitty snow in winter for a change, we get rain from june through to end of march, and then 2 months of sun for a day rain for a day. :(

cant remember last time i saw sun :(

i know how you feel, we are going camping on friday

We are having the same problem Lynn, we want to go away and takes Duds with us but I don't want to be all cooped up. It would only be a weekend but doesn't seem worth it. Now we are looking at city breaks but we wouldn't be able to take Dudley :( Worst summer we have had yet I rekon! Although, last year with the floods was terrible.

We gave up and turned our heating on last night, something we try to avoid at this time of year, especially as this old, draughty Victorian vicarage costs a fortune to heat. :( But we had visitors and didn't think it fair to inflict temperatures of under 18 degrees on them, so reluctantly turned it on. It's raining here too, and is just so dark and gloomy. Supposed to be better this afternoon but I'm not holding my breath! :- " ;)

I'm glad we went on holiday in June - we had a nice 2 weeks with only one day of rain! (w00t) :)

this must be one of the worst summers lately, it has eaither been cold and rainy or just too damn hot

Weather is really rubbish, making me really miserable.

Poppy is restless cos she wants to play outside but its raining and the grass is all wet.

We are going to Wales on Thursday night with her so fingers crossed for some nice weather, bought her a raincoat so we can at least take her out without worrying bout her getting cold.

I go back to work in two weeks and feel like we havent even had a summer!

I want to move to Spain!!

Sorry folks, but we are having some of the best weather for ages. Its lovely and sunny again today. You'll all have to move to the Western Isles . . .

And it was Scotland where we had our 1-rainy-day-in-a-fortnight holiday too. 8)

sun, sun, sun here in the very North East of Scotland..... 8)

Miss Mabel says her brother is more than welcome to come up for a bit of Scottish sunshine anytime he likes :D

we have had great weather since May - and to think we headed North because i hated the hot Summers in Kent

i have actually got a bit of a tan this year - which for me is a bit of a miracle!!

Thank you Miss Mabel, Pax said he would love to come and enjoy all your lovely sun. Mum is going to bring him and Dad will navigate. We had better bring our 3 sons as they will have wild parties and wreck the house if we dont - oh and the chihuahuas say they like sun too and they don't cause much trouble and then there's the cat, we cant leave him on his own cos he'll starve. So - the 10 of us will see you tomorrow, okay? Byeeee (w00t) (w00t)
