I found out today that one of the puppies from our litter last year has died. Bella bolted after touching an electric fence and was running home when she was hit by a truck and died instantly. We and Bella's owners are completely devastated. Bella was such a special dog, one of a kind. We will all miss her so much.

i cried so much when i read this, as i do most of them. the mere thought of loosing my whippey is just too painful. i get comfort in the fact that they are all running round at rainbow bridge. together forever.

Thankyou so much everyone for your kind words. This has been such a tragic loss, Bella was wonderful & everyone who met her instantly fell in love. It's tough enough not knowing if I'll ever see Luci again, and now this. We are so upset, life can be so unfair.

This actually happend last week but her owner has been too devastated to let us know straight away, she knew how much we loved Bella & couldn't bare telling us. She was with Bella 24/7, she adored Bella. Now she cannot eat or sleep. My heart goes out to her and her family, including her lurcher who had become so attached to Bella.

She knows that Bella is irreplacable but she has asked me to help find her another Whippet. So if any one knows of any upcoming litters, or an older Whippet who's looking for a good home please let me know. Thankyou. (Have already given her no. for Whippet Rescue)
