Sad to say Frankie and Sam's brother Bertie has been PTS

Three years of age is no age to lose them :(

He lived as a non-racing pet with Jan German in Norfolk - I gave him to her as a replacement for losing Peewee (Bobbies Girl) He started with fits and convulsions last June but had been fit-free since July. Then on Monday it came back with a vengeance. Fitting non-stop, he was even anesthetized but when he came round they started up again. Almost certainly a brain tumour - his limbs were affected after the summer sessions and he was almost getting full use of them back before this happened.

I'm posting my favourite piccy of him with his mum Lisa just before he left me to go to Jan.

Go with love Bertie

Sorry to hear this Ian :( My first whippet Cassie was put to sleep at the tender age of 4 due to having fits :(

RIP Bertie x

Thanks for your kind comments - even if you HAVE started me blubbing again

Although he left me at 9 weeks, I think as breeders you never really relinquish ownership. I'm not breeding any more though!
