Were all much carmer today I Know it was the feeling of helpless less becoues shelby was so big getting on for 80lb it was real problem. I was in on my own and he fell and was panacking I couldnt move him or help him in. he keept screaming. I manedged with towles to straten him which made him comfy and just lay on the flor along side him strocking him crying. all the big dogs lay on the sofas very quiet just watching and all 4 whippets lay along my back and each on of them put there heads on my side just looking at shelby. It my sound daft but that 20 mintes till tony got home once shelby was comfy was very speacily I new he wasnt going to come back I could tell in his face but we had a chance to say goodby and I think all the other dogs did aswell.

I allso cannot beleiev how wonderfull my 12 years old dauter was she came back with Tony quietaly got all the other dogs in the back room gave them all a chew and got them settles while we got shelby in the van. I was about to get in when she aid I will go with him mum. she lay on the floor with him all the way to the vets waited with him while Tony sorted things out helped get him in there. She waited outside for Tony who was in tears after. got shlbys coller and even called me to say he had gone. then she came home sorted all the othe dogs out tided cleaned and wa an absolut star.
