So sorry to hear the news of Sunny. :( He looked a lovely boy. Thinking of you at this sad time. :huggles:

:( When I saw his photo I thought gosh he looks like my old Moggie. Strangely enough she was born in April 1994 too. She was born on the 1st so she's our little april fool dog.

RIP Sunny. I was thinking of you all tonight when Moggie was having her gentle evening massage.

Words can't describe how hard it is to lose them - hugs from all of us.

ah, thank you all so much - lovely poem Millie, I've heard it before and thought it was sad, feels very different today - all your messages have made me smile and cry :(

me, Wayne, Lewis and Kieran are sitting out in the garden having lots of drink (me and Wayne!), chat, tears and laughter :b

:( So very sorry Doris :(

R,I,P. SUNNY, Rest peacefully lovely one.

its so weird without him here :(

he was a huge presence and the biggest dog in the house, with skippey feet and whippey tail, it feels so empty with just the 3 others

and he was so shouty! until his last week, he never failed to remind us that it was dinner time, and when he started the others followed, it is so quiet now

the fried egg from my sunday morning fry-up was one of his favourite things in the world, he would run in the room before I'd even cut it up for him cos he could tell that I'd finished eating, and he would shake until I gave him some. I was ok yesterday until I got to the bit where he would normally gallop in the room, then I just fell to pieces :'(

back to work today, it was ok cos most people know what I'm like about my dogs so they left me alone or gave me a smile and a nod, but my bestest bloke mate (who don't even like dogs!) just looked at me and mouthed 'sorry about your dog' - that was it, I was off again!! lucky he's got big man shoulders for me to cry on :- " (dont tell Wayne  )

we don't regret making the decision and I'm proud that we both took him and stayed with him til he was gone, I think we did the right thing at the right time - which I know is really lucky to feel like after doing such a horrible thing - but its still tough so want to let you all know that your kind messages really to help, even if they make me cry! :b

thanks :huggles:
