"Please be my friend, I only want to play.... honestly..." o:) Sad to say Eric didn't stick around for very long. How very very dare she!

oh and she's modelling the old fleece sleeve jumper I made for her yesterday when she gave me the "are you mental" look.. "it's far to cold to go outside and it's wet!" It fits pretty well and I've got the other sleeve to make a bigger one

Do you think her ears will ever match?

She is gorgeous. It takes time for the kitties to get friends with the dogs, 2 of our cats now accept Tascha, but the 3rd has absolutely no intention of lowering the tone, and being friends with a dog!

What lovely pictures   I love seeing the dogs with cats all snuggly. o:)

she is gorgeous  ,such a cute face, and i like eric  ,think my brian would love to join forces with him to keep those whippies at bay

ruby is such a cutie pie. but i dont think the cat is as impressed! :D

Awww  great photos

What a great idea with the jumper..... Sidney hates his coat although I bought a size bigger so he could grow into it :b

We thought the same thing about Sid's ears when he was a pup..... he is nealry 10 months now....... by looking at him, they seemed to of sorted themselves out....

I think Eric is being very tolerant actually - he's actually letting her touch his tail (w00t) That would have meant certain death in our house for the first couple of years. They did eventually settle down and the cat was actually very solicitous to him when he broke his toe recently. :huggles:

She is very lovely (caught my eye as soon as I saw her  ) and I'm sure her ears will be fine - enjoy them while you can

Eric is a great wee cat... he's a bit odd but he's very lovely and yes he is pretty good with her. We have another 3 cats which are not so tolerant but they're all adjusting very quickly :sweating: . She was rushing up to them to say hello when she first arrived which ended up in a few little chasing episodes which we were a bit worried about. But they seem to know now she's not going to hurt them and they stand their ground and bop her on the nose (no claws so far!), which is actually been quite a good thing because she seems to respect their space a bit more.

Floyde is very very handsome, as is the cat is beautiful is he/she a pedigree?

Oh and I love you signature pics, the one you're using just now is a cracker... I love his eyes in the photo they're so clear and bright. I've has a look at his website it's a great idea, I must have a go at making one up for Ruby.

Yes, it may look alarming but it's usually just an act. Personally I think it's better in the long run to establish a pecking order at this stage. Ours was very respectful and submissive to the cat from the start, although he has always liked stealing her favourite lounging spaces (even if they're not comfortable for him) as he perceives them to be of high status. Any grumpyness we've had between them has ultimately been due to petty jealousies about who lies where; since I made him keep to his own bed we haven't had a single hiss. :D

Yes, she is a tabbypoint siamese. I think ALL whippets get that (demented  ) look in their eye once the plastic bag on a string starts moving  ( or when pinching a poor pussycat's place of rest :b )
