Shadow was arrived on 20-05-94, she won one CC, she was the dam of R Wigeon of Ottercomb, who has her stud book number along with R Pied Woodpecker, she lives on continuing my blue line through Wigeon, Daisy, who had produced some lovely blues for her owner.

Shadow lived with some good friends of mine in Somerset for the last years of her life. She stayed with them when she was in season and always sulked on returning home, so I decided, for Shadow, the best thing was to let them have her.

Her brother R Merganser also won his stud book number.

Shads produced the last Rystone litter bred by myself, to Ousebank Secret Mission. I should with hind sight have had another litter from her, not to be, she was a special whippet, and died peacefully in her sleep.

So sorry to read of Shadow's passing. She was a gorgeous girl and I remember being there on the day her litter was born. I chose Milo (R Pied Woodpecker) when he was only hours old and he is so like his mum, although a different colour !!

You must be upset Ann and Vic. God bless both of you.
