Last night I had just settled down to relax, the dogs were all in the back yard having a final run before bed when I heard a huge whack and screaming from one of the dogs. I raced out to find Rythmn tumbling over, screaming and not being able to stand, straight away I thought she had broken her back. I scooped her up and we raced to the vet making the call as we went as it was afterhours luckly we didn't have to wait long for the vet to arrive at the clinic. He checked her all over with all her vitals and reponses quite good at that stage. She was starting to hold her weight for a short period. Nothing seems to be broken but she is having x-rays today to be on the safe side. It looks like she pretty much knocked herself out. About 2cm above her eye she has a graze and a couple across her nose, bruising on her chest and one leg has a few light cuts on it. She slept in bed with me last night and I dropped her back to the vets this morning. Fingers crossed she will be ok. Don't think I'll be able to concentrate much at work today.
