I've had this very sad pm from Jonathan(jsrhodes),who since has asked me to let you know about the sad loss of his promising young lad Danny.
Danny was his first whippet,& he had the pleasure of showing him at Crufts this year.
He was just 11 months old

I'm afraid I have some awful news. Danny (Elmanash Monsignor at Kizoku) has been killed in a road accident. I am always so careful not to let my dogs off the lead anywhere unsafe but he ran over a mile across the fields away from where we were walking after a hare. According to the police a lady saw him chase it into the road. We were looking for him for two hours and then got a call from the dog warden who had been called by the police and read his microchip. As you can imagine I am completely shocked and upset and have let Roz know who is also very upset. He was such a loving, fun dog to live with and we had really enjoyed showing and were looking forward to seeing him mature and come on.
