she is still dehydrated although not as bad, she has still not eaten (now 3days) but the pain cries have stopped? she has not passed any black stuff today and the temp is down , so im hoping and praying this is a bug which has hit her hard due to her age? still keeping an open mind with heavy heart but you never know? dogs can shock us even after knocking on the door of death? so please keep up the positive thoughts and im telling thomas all your good wishes, he does find it had to understand but im trying :thumbsup:

i went to the vets which deals with the track greyhounds in case of any sedation needed etc, but im sort of pleased as they didnt just put her down, they think its either and infection/bug she has picked up which has caused a bleed inside or a small tumour gone inside or her liver packing in , this is why we tried the antibiotics route and pain relief to see if that helped which it has to a degree, she is not in any great pain, but at times uncomfortable enough to give a yelp , where as yesterday she was screaming at times! the infection route would also say why she had a temp too which has now gone, she is an old lady who has had a tough life over the years but has had a second wind here and become thomas`s companion as well as general nanny to all the ratbags here, she lives in thomas`s room . Im sad to say i think we are heading towards the end but then again they can shock us even in old age , the vets said today to just take her home and make her comfortable

please think of thomas and sophie tonight as she is very ill, she has been to to vets today and its not looking good    she is back tomorrow, but she sleeps with thomas and they are inseperable, he will be devastated if the worst comes to the worst , she has had antibiotics and painkillers but still poorly
