sophie has drunk a little today but still refuses to eat , ive tried cooked chicken breast , tuna , sardines minced beef, but she will not touch a thing? any suggestions? :thumbsup:

My Mother used 'Complan' to feed up one of her Monkeys (don't ask) when it was on deaths door.

It did help a lot, especially if they feel too weak to chew.

I always add glucose powder to the water (you can buy it in most chemists and some supermarkets), that way they are getting some feed even in the water.

I have an old dog and last April he did not eat or drink for three days and only went out for one long wee, nearly collapsed and could hardly stand, I really thought I was going to loose him, tried to tempt him with everything I could think of, fried liver, fish, smoked mackerel you name it! On the third evening he took a small piece of shaped ham that you put in childrens sandwiches. He had a few slices over that evening, then gradually ate more each time and over the coming week rallied round. He is still with me!

I do not panic easily but if anyone had asked me, I would have said that he was dying.

Best thing I can advise is try anything and everything!!
