Scottish Champs & Derby 2011

so looking forward to this :thumbsup: should be such fun
 
Hope we can make both weekends but work may raise its ugly head :( was a good laff last year too..!!!
 
hi all 14 of us coming from ireland this year first year going we cant wait (w00t) we r not to much up to dte wit your racing gil when i spoke to aurtur im sure he said there is up to 55lbs weight racing and also aurtur said he would try arrange a bit of racing for dogs over the 55lbs just for a bit of a banter like as we ave big dogs is there anyone wit dogs over 55lbs weight tat would be up for bit of racing if all is ok wit the people who run the this avent if they could post it up so i can speak to aurtur on it would be very helpful....we look forward to meeting new friends and new racing and see new dogs run so wish all the very best of luck on getting dogs safe and free of injury :thumbsup:
 
Am going to Scotland now as I didn't go to Devon so the money I saved there will let me go now I wasn't going as the price of fuel was stopping me. ( but not now)

it will be good to see the irish lads

i dont know if there will be dogs over 55lbs now,,,,most are 50lbs under,,,,but if u see aruther when u get there he,ll try and put somthing on for the bigger dogs over 55lb,,,,,,,i know a guy dennend on here has a couple good big uns,,,,,he usally pops in to derby after lurcher show on his way home ,,,might be happy to race with the big uns over the cap

best off luck guys,,,,, :thumbsup: i hear threw the gratvine u have few handy dogs,,,,,rember get your dogs practicing with kickboards in traps,,, :thumbsup:

forgot to mention,,,,,if ur over for the 10days,,,,,there,s thorton greyhound flapping track 2 miles away from campsite,,,,he,s always keen to set race up with the scratch dogs wedesday night and saturday night,,,,if u phone him ( on flappers dream site ),,,,which would give ur really big uns a race,,,,give me the heads up if u decide to bring a fast as hell greyhound over to race wedesday night,,,,so everyone on camping site can make extra cash ;) for beer money lol

thanks for the kind words and your help :thumbsup: we will be leaveing ireland thursday nyt 3.30am so be there friday 29th we r looking so forward to meeting new friends and seeing new faces and dogs and for me to take the back seat instead of arranging racing :wacko: r dogs r ok might not be up to ye lot lol if anythink it will be an experiance for us and a top class wk end its not all about winning lads its nice to take part an if the win comes tat will be nice best of luck to everyone taking part and best wishs to the lads and lasses getting the think sorted for wat i believe a supper wk end and this is wat it is about :luck:

away to put up couple off photos off prevoius winner,s with the bagpipes,,,,,,it always get,s the english going,,,,,,lol dont if it boys kilt,,,,or the fact off making one off the finals and hearing the bagpipes being played lol,,,,( great feeling no matter what country we are from,,,,when u meet the bagpipes u dont care if u come last,,,,as to meet the bagpipes you made the finals and all ur hard work payed off :thumbsup:

haha this should get few whippet racers blood flowing,,,,not long now lads and lasses ,,,,good luck,,and happy holidays ,,,when time comes round again :thumbsup:

there,s a new RULE at track for the scottish derby 2011

the rule states,,,,,no one and i repeat no one let a motorised scooter near track,,,or even mention motorised scooter in front off my scratch dog,,,as he has a thing for them :lol: :lol: :lol:

when i get back to kirkcaldy next week ,,,,ill vote that rule in :lol: set in stone
