A few weeks ago I posted a message asking advice as my husband and I were having doubts about whether to go for a second whippet after being put off by other people and told some negative things about having 2 dogs. However i'm glad to say that after your positive replies and lovey pictures of 2+ whippets it convinced us that is was practically the law to have more than one.

As a result I am pleased to say that we now have a new addition, a gorgeous 15 week old boy who we have named Willow. You may known him on K9 as Timber, we got him from Anita at Yialousa (Georgina). Thanks to Anita for a wonderful puppy, he has such a sweet nature and has settled in so well with Merlin, our 19 month old boy. Any doubts we had have been erased and we are so happy that we now have two. It's wonderful to see them interacting with each other and they get on so well.

I have tried to post a picture but i'm unable to do so - it's saying the file is too large and I don't know how to resize it. I saw info about resizing in paint or photobucket but I have neither. If anyone knows how I may be able to get around it please let me know.

Jill

Great news  , I remember the pics he's a very handsome boy. Glad it all worked out for you.

Fantastic :D Lovely to hear that you now have two whippies

Double the fun (w00t)

As for pictures ..... just register yourself on Photobucket (it's FOC) and you can upload your pics to there and then download them to K9. Photobucket does the rest, although you can get more technical if you want :teehee:

There is lots of advice about posting photos under the Help & Ideas section of K9 as well  :luck:

Congratulations on getting your second whippet Willow, glad things are going well for you and Merlin

Here is how to resize pictures in paint

Right click on a pic

scroll down the option to open with and select PAINT

in paint click on image at the top of the screen

select stretch/skew from the options list

In here reduce your image to 25% on both options

click OK

you now have to save your reduced pic as a new image

click on file

select save as

give your new pic a name

save it.

Hope this helps you

thanks but unfortunately I don't have paint on my pc

Timber is gorgeous I remember him - Lucky you!

I have posted pictures by clicking on browse and uploading the pic you want from your own files - compressing them first using Microsoft Picture manager (right click on picture - open with Micro Pic Man - then edit)

Look forward to seeing him! And your first whippet too!

Yey...another K9 whippet....how lovely for you...  Im so glad, Im sure you wont regret it, and cant wait to see your pictures.
