Friday evening my OH was home alone when there was a knock at the front door late at night , he decided not to answer it as he wasn`t expecting anyone to call at that time, so looking out of the bedroom window he saw a youth look over our neighbours fence (who had been burgled the previous week)....the youth then went to the rear of our property and climbed into our garden . At this point my OH ran down the stairs called the dogs they all then piled outside, Grace my collie saw the youth first and frightened the life out of him, Sid then to my OH`s surprise rushed at the youth baying at the top of his voice and not relenting all the time the youth was there.

I am SO proud of both Sid and Grace but especially Sid as he kept rushing and barking at the intruder which is something i always knew Grace would do but wasn`t expecting my "little man" to be so brave!!

For a dog that very rarely barks Sid was my hero !!!!!

Well done Sid and Grace!

I am a firm believer, in the saying "if burglars (etc) don't want to get hurt (etc) on other people's property ... they shouldn't be on other people's property!!!" (You can tell my sympathies lay with Tony Martin!).

Well done Sid ( Mint eater  ) & Grace

Thanks for all your messages , both Sid and Grace have been thoroughly spoilt (w00t) .....but i still can`t believe how "aggressive" Sid appeared to be , i bet the intruder was glad that Sid didn`t jump the fence after him :- "

My Hero

Well done Sid, and Grace. what a shock it must have been though, to actually find someone in your garden :(

So glad the two of them piled out with your OH, but would have loved some video footage (w00t)
