It went well thanks Claire :)

She's been comfy and I took her out for the toilet a few times which she did

She was a little trembly this morning but that could be because she doesnt have any meds through the night, I have given her all of them now and she's sleeping, she's eating well and when i've taken Jordan to school we are going to do a bit of physio in the garden :D

The hardest part about it is because she she's lost weight and weak on one side she's like a slinky, all bendy so its hard to do the front with the back, but we'll get there :huggles:

She has to go back tomorrow for a check and she will be coming off some of the medication although she's not on that much now anyway, but she will be taking rimydyl for a while yet so she doesn't get pain and tense herself up

I'll take some pics later :)

Look forward to the pics later on - you'll soon find your own routine, are you writing a diary...other than on here :- " ...so you can plot her progress - you won't be able to see the day to day improvements and you'll need something to keep your spirits up when you think things are going too slow

every step is a step in the right direction , thinking of you all :huggles:

Im so glad she is home with her family. Lots of luck for the future. Get well soon Sienna :huggles:

Glad her first night went well Lesley...keep up the good work...thinking you you all.. :huggles:

:) So glad she's home with you :huggles: I'm sure she'll feel much more secure back with her family and the other dogs will be great stimulation. I read your message about her being like a slinky and thought of those slings they use to weigh the whippets at racing might be useful and then you could kinda carry/walk her as part of the physio.

Funnily enough Julie we have one of those which we used for racing :) I made it myself and the good thing is it doesnt touch the neck,we were talking about it yesterday the physio thought it was a great idea to get her using her back legs in a walking motion.

She can only wear a collar for fancy now, but we have a lovely new one that Nicky sent for her so she will look pretty  but she will have to have a harness for walking now

Hi Spryers. So pleased to know that Sienna is now at home and receiving all the attention to ensure a good recovery. Best of luck to everyone  :luck:
