Chris emailed yesterday & I saw one problem with the url he was using - so hopefully he will get it sorted today.

Some brilliant pictures on that site  love the horsey ones 8)

I'm so rubbish, just can not do this!

what does web-hosted pictures mean?

web hosted pictures means that all your pictures are on a web-site photo album, like photobucket for example, there handy for freeing up space on your PC.

hope this helps Doris

Thanks Nigel ;)

Not many people know this... but if you go to 'My Controls' (up at the top on the second menu bar) and then click on 'Your Albums' under the menu on the left hand side you can create your own private photo album 8) on K9 - just ideal for putting those signature pictures.

It's still free at the moment but will become part of a subscription package sometime in the future.

honestly, how rubbish am I? I still can not do it! It keeps saying that I can't add dynamic in img or something like that, or it just shows my pic as a little red cross - what does that all mean? (apart from that I am just so rubbish!!!)

Doris,

You are sooo not rubbish, I can't figure it out either  At least you can talk about "dynamic" and "img" I wouldn't dare :b All I want is a nice pic of my boys at the bottom but it's a blooming nightmare.

Good luck

Good luck

I only mentioned it cos I read it about 20 times - I still haven't got the wording right and I have no idea what it means! :- "

I only want a nice pic too - its just not fair!!

let me know if you get it to work :luck:

Trying to add a signature but I get the message that dynamic images are not allowed - it is a gif image. Can anyone help please? Janet (plain and unadorned so far)

Where is the gif image? Can you post the url to it?

My signature text looks like this

Code:
Nigel
[img=http://www.k9community.co.uk/forums/uploads/k9.gif]
~The Difference Between an [b]ORDEAL[/b] and an [b]ADVENTURE[/b] is [i][b]ATTITUDE[/b][/i]~
So the image bit is between the image tags - the img & /img in square brackets. The line to your image should be something similar - it should be the full url to your image file.

After the image I have some text with some bits in bold (b & /b tags) and some bits in bold & italic (ib & /b/i tags).
