After a particularly wild play session out in the garden with Phoebe when they were chasing and ambushing each other (w00t) Skye came in limping . I checked her all over and there are no wounds so it appears to be a muscle or something internal . Thought it was a front leg at first but now when I run my fingers over her back legs she fidgets when massage her left thigh and it seems to be a bit enlarged compared to the other one.
This happened on Monday evening so I thought best to leave it for 24 hours as it wasn't bothering her to see if it would improve, well it has but she is still limping slightly, worse when gets up from being asleep . What do you think I should do, could the vet do anything for her or will it heal on its own ?
I am trying to limit her play sessions and am not walking her but complete rest is proving to be impossible with a 13 week old pup (w00t)
