the brown ones could have been Shetlands, Paula - or maybe Herdwicks.
we have several different species at the farm where I work. But you do get the odd black lamb from a Swaledale too.
And how right he is, you cant eat LAMB without mint saucetrish and graham said:love your pics.the other day we passed a field of lambs,carnt have been more than a week old and like usual im saying, oh look how sweet,oh bless,oh lovely,and when we had passed them i said to the husband how come you never say anything about the lambs,and his answer was ,all i can see is the mint sauce running after them. how awful.
