:huggles: you guys have all seen Striker  , i'll have some new photos to show everyone soon! :D

Oh thanks for putting them on - love your two half faces - Harley is just

:D thank you! i love my little babies! i have been told by so many people that i'll have a hard time with the judges because of my love for the pretty coloured whippets but thats ok. we'll get through it! i just find it funny that the "coloured" whippets are judged so considering ANY colour is SUSPOSED to be accepted in the breed!

What is the breeding of your other Whippets?

Makayla, the little brindle clown face is Aust. CH Calahorra Covent Garden X Nevedith LFA Limelight.

Georgia, the solid black girl is Eljireh Blue Rumour X Valdassa Zorro Express.

Harley, the little black & white pup is Eljireh Blue Saphire X Calahorra Mesmerised.

Makayla is from Wendye Slatyer and the other two were bred by Ian Dunk in NSW.

He used to show but hasn't in a long time but is now thinking of getting back into it...

:D Thank you TC, I feel very honoured that Lana trusted me to have him. Strikers 1st show for me will be at KCC park on April 6th. I wanted to make sure that he had plenty of time to settle in with us. Tomorrow is just my pups 1st show then on the 6th of April i have Makayla,Georgia and Striker showing! I'm so nervous! Hopefully we'll go ok together :b ....I'm more worried i'm going to embarrass them! he he he... :p
I'm sure you will have a ball, and it sounds like you're my twin....nervous as anything and worried about letting the dogs down :sweating:

It gets a lot easier (w00t)

TCx

Edited to say I have just seen Harley...What a peach

:D thanks TC! I hope it does, I've got all kinds of butterflies right now... :b My main thing is to keep it fun for the dogs, I feel sorry for the ones that i see getting draged in the ring like they don't want to go.... I only do it for fun so they won't be pressured to go every weekend, so hopefully that keeps them excited about it when they do get a go at it! 8)

I just gotta play Mrs. cool so they don't realize mums worried (w00t)

Well, some of mine are distant cousins :)

We are going to the Canine Museum Show at Easter

Vanessa - a little tip - when you're telling the parents of dogs, you put the sire first x the dam ;)

So Makayla is: Nevedith Lfa Limelight (Imp UK) x Ch Calahorra Covent Garden

or by Nevedith Lfa Limelight (Imp UK) out of Ch Calahorra Covent Garden. :)

Wow - I am sure I only looked at this thread 5 minutes ago when the impending delivery of Striker was a secret liason

Welcome Vanessa to the wonderful world of whippet showing (w00t) I am sure you will get addicted in a flash

:b thanks Lana...i guess i did that all backwards!

I took Striker with me to show today to show my friend and she was very impressed with him. She even said she thought that he was very well put together and he could do ok here in victoria! I was suprised because she's not a big fan of coloured whippets!

The canine museum show....is that the one on the 6th of April at KCC Park seraphina? If so i will be there! That will be strikers 1st show with me!

Thank you shenace, i have met some very nice people on here. :b  I let it slip a little too early about striker but i was sooooooo excited to get him here! I have to say that he was EVERYTHING i had hoped for! He is a very loving boy.
