We met some friends the other day for a steam train ride. Muffin really enjoyed all the fuss. Think I had the camera on a funny setting hence the blurred image.

Muffin chilling out as only a whippet can, sprawled across my OH's and his friends knees. o:)

This train travel is a tiring business. -_-

Jonah enjoyed his first pub visit. He was so good and just sat near my feet during the whole meal. I think he was actually a bit overawed as the pub was full and all the dog owners were squashed into a small area! (w00t) He did have the odd chip or two though. :huggles:

One last pic of Muffin in the pub.

No, no, no!! Don't let Finlay take any tips from our two. :- " The camera takes a picture of one second in Jonah & Muffin's lives - you don't get to see what happens the rest of the time!!!! (w00t)

Ha Gilli I can believe you on that one :D

If you are ever planning at trip over to Chatsworth again you will have to let me know, it would be great to all meet up and let the 4 of them run riot off their leads

Last time I was there I found an area where nobody was so they just ran around like crazy without bothering anyone, such good fun to watch :)

poor jonah looks like he needs rescuing, with the look on his face in the pub

he looks all grown up

what pub was you in,its always good to know dog friendly pubs,we go to one in causeway foot halifax and theres a good one in leyburn at the top of the square,if you get up that way.

He looks very Zen like in the second pic.

Then he's off in the pub drinking.... spoils the whole image, lol. ;)

Nice photos. Jonah found the sun in the garden recently then :- "

Nice to see them enjoying trips out.....love the ones of Muffin snoozing :D

Great pictures Gillian. Looks like the OH cant keep away from those trains...

We were in The Boat Inn at Cheddlestone, just south of Leek in Staffordshire. It's a lovely spot, near the river, the canal and the railway. They have one corner of the pub set aside for dogs and their owners. It was quite funny because there were a few dogs cramped together in this small space, but the rest of the pub had nicely spaced tables with plenty of room. :- " Still, it was all very cosy and it meant you ended up talking to other people and their dogs so it was nice. They also have a large covered area outside but it was just too wet and chilly to sit there so we went inside. :D

aww look at little Jonah contemplating his exciting day out, , was he ok on the train? not bothered by the noise ?

looks like they behaved well in the pub, they must save all their tricks for when you go out so they can whizz round with the loo rolls
