Thanks Dessie, I will bear that in minddessie said:That's good that your Vet is enough up to speed to recognise what the problem is and feels confident enough to carry out the surgery (if not I can recommend an excellent orthopod in Reading!).
Maybe I have a lot of confidence and trust in my Vet because I don't have any qualms about my dogs having surgery, Tarka is fit and well in all other respects so there is no reason why he shouldn't breeze through the op ........... and hopefully benefit from it. I would go for it asap!
PMA!!! :luck: :huggles:
Please thank Leia, that is inspiring news. :huggles:Rae said:Ouch that sounds really sore, poor brave Tarka, what an awful time you are all having.
Leia says to tell Tarka that she had 3 ops in 5 months to fix her shattered leg and she made an excellent recovery, the pain and heartache now will be well worth it in 12 months time when he's hurtling around again. It's heart in your mouth time when they are off lead running for the first time but it's so worth it to see them smiling.
:luck: to Tarka for his op.
