Week 2

My oh my what a way to run a laundry (not that I would have wanted to do it (w00t) )

Poor Shazia was literally taken to 'the cleaners' by Jenny, she of the strange ties or are they scarves? Why people don't stand up for themselves more in the boardroom I don't know, or maybe they do and it's all in the editing. There is no way I would go without a fight. Pity no-one rang the 24 hr hot line to speak to their account manager - that could have been interesting :wacko: :wacko: where do they come up with these ideas.

The boys did well, (loved Alex in his Superman jimjams) even The Poshboy Three weren't completely useless tonight.

My selected quote for this week is

"That's like a fungus that starts eating away at the positivity of the team"

and finally the first three customers who come into the shop tomorrow I'm going to ask if they would like to give me a tip, Can't see it being a problem. :- "

Well I watched it for the first time ever tonight, and I have to say it was entertaining - but couldn't you just strangle the woman who took charge of the girls team? So snotty, and talking down to everyone :angry: I wil look forward to her being sacked SOON!

thanks T.C. but i realised i could watch it on replay tv so watched it tonight and caught up on it! :thumbsup: wow !tbh i thought it was a bit rubbish!none of them seem to have a clue what theyre doing.looking back on other programs none of these seems to have that something that marks them out from the crowd.i watched 'the apprentice worst decisions' tonight peed myself laughing at simon in the tv studio with that trampoline.best tv moment ever eh? :lol:

Week 3

Are they all thick or what. I cannot believe how poor the candidates are this year.

I'm leaning towards Simon because at least he has a bit of 'gumption'. The girls won but only because the boys made a hash of it (that's what they should have made - Hash :thumbsup: ). I can't even find a suitable quote from this week.

agree with you jenny.sir alan must be wondering how he can make a silk purse out of a sows ear this year. :blink: they really seem to be so dumb i cant figure out how they got picked for the program.if this is the cream of british talent the chinese must be wetting themselves! :lol: the lad who was the manager this week hadnt a clue and like his dad said afterwards hes no excuse as he was brought up in the pub/food trade.he made some rather nasty personal remarks about the blondehaired lad who was the chef,saying he was the only gay welsh chef in the village!meeeeeow!!!!!!!!! (w00t) jenny gets stroppy again next week looking at the preview that followed the program.even when shes right she still going to annoy people cos of the way she speaks to the other girls.i cant see any of this lot winning going on what weve seen so far.i like simon and the plumpish girl who seems to have a bit of common sense and gumption and the handsome young adam we were chatting about last week.apparently hes got quite a female following in this

Thanks for that Kris, it's spot on, what a turnip that Ian was. Did you see Lucinda's beret-topped ensemble at The Tate Modern, she looked like an exhibit (aren't I being bitchy). In fact we went to the Tate Modern once and had afternoon tea and then took a photo of the dirty cups and screwed up cake wrappers and we have it framed in our downstairs loo and tell everyone it's from The Tate Modern. It was hilarious because you're not supposed to take pictures inside so we dropped the cutlery as a distraction then whipped out the camera and took a quick snap. Mind you I would have to be honest and say that the picture would be a little more complete with some messy cutlery.

i dont like modern art i just dont get it.and when poncey idjeets like nicholas de lacey brown(who added the de lacey bit cos he thought it made him more sophisticated) -_- are the people telling us what we ought to think and feel when we look at a piece of art it just annoys me even more! :lol:i think lucinda wont last long.she either looks like a rabbit caught in the headlights or as if shes about to burst into tears if jenny has another go at her! i have to say i really despair if this is the quality of candidates for the apprentice this year i think its the worst bunch weve ever had,though i have to say adam is very easy on the eye! :- "

I was an apprentice virgin until this series - but I have to say I'm hooked - but some of them need a good bop on the nose :rant:

I quite liked the blondey haired chefy bloke last night - until the end when he gave his cocky speech about knowing he wasn't going out :unsure: yeah right :lol:

well simon went tonight awwwwww :huggles: poor lad i felt sorry for him i dont think a couple of members of his team really gave him their full support.sir alan tore into claire and really gave her what for!(well deserved too imho)i dont think ucinda will last much longer.be interesting to see what type of project leader claire makes next week. :- " just watched the apprentice youre fired and most of the audience felt simon shouldnt have been fired.i think he was honest,hard working and one of the few with no agendas.he just went in and thought by dint of hard work he could get there.but as he said he knew hed come to the limit of his talents and sir alan was right he was out of his depth.tbh i think this lot are one of the worst lots ive ever seen in this series.id be terrified of hiring any of them. (w00t)

my friend has a large store in manchester and i was in there last tuesday showing her new manageress some samples and she was doing the ordering from us.i asked her what they were paying her and said whatever it is its not enough!shes pierced in places you wouldnt believe :lol: has purple hair and dresses in black with steel toecap rock boots but id put money on this street smart young girl against any of this lot!shes gonna go places unlike them!its not often im impressed but this kid impressed me. shes got nous,knows the game inside out and after spending a couple of hours in her company and watching how she runs the place and her philosophies on the retail game i have to say theyve got a star in her, shes worth her weight in gold.its so hard to get good staff and im sure Jenny knows what im saying so when you do get a good 'un,hold onto them!
