Catkin is already ruling the roost!!. I put the puppies panacur wormer in custard, which they loved!, and gave Willow the tin to lick, as she was looking a bit hard done by. Then Catkin came along and took it off her!, poor Willow.

As you can see, a goodly amount of Jasper's worming medicine ended up on his face :D

We're all rather sleep deprived as he doesn't like being left and hates being shut in 'his' room but are toughing it out (OK I foolishly slept in his room for a couple of hours one night but it's amazing how a small puppy can morph into a fully grown deerhound in the night and take up almost all the mattress). On the good side, he seems keen to wee & poo in the garden so housetraining shouldn't be too much of a problem, and although he nips onto the sofa the moment my back is turned, when I caught him trying to climb up this morning and said 'Off!' he whined and curled up on his blanket instead. He got a treat for that!

They are so beautiful. That photo of Jasper ought to be cropped, printed on photo paper & framed! He is so photogenic :)

Jasper is so cute, and has definately landed on his paws

Good luck to Luke and his fawn dog puppy, off on a long journey back to Devon. :luck: .

They have all been spoken for now, theres only 4 left in the stable, and one is going at the weekend, then its the Northern Ireland trio to go on the Shugborough weekend. Ernie the horse will be pleased to have his house back! :)

Today,I had to be the horrible person who had to take the puppies for their first injections :( !. All 5 travelled loose in the car!, 1 just came for the ride, as she is being done by her new owners vets, and I didn't want to leave her on her own in the stable!.

They poohed, peed, climbed and cried all the way! :x , and I had one of my other dogs on the front seat, as early yesterday morning , he managed to get a nip off a badger on his foot, and it looked like it was turning a bit yucky today, which the vet confirmed!. That will teach him not to ignore me, when I tell him to come back to me - not! , he's a proper jack the lad.

My vet said that " I was doing the pups well", and I said the credit must go to Willow :)

Jasper had his first jab today too. It was only a couple of minutes in the car but he wasn't happy, probably because his only other car journey was a 4.5-hour removal from all he knew. The vet pronounced him a smashing puppy :D

I've just glanced at his mugshot a couple of posts back and can't believe how much he's grown and developed since then, less than a week ago. I'm not sure how much longer I'll be able to carry him for, he'll be as big as me soon!

Bless him, I'm so glad he has gone to a home where he is truely loved :)

So much for our plans only to allow Jasper on the sofa when invited... who could deny this little fellow his rightful position?

Jasper has changed so much, it looks like his black mask is growing out. He is one lucky puppy!
He's growing before our eyes too....
