I'm decorating the house at the moment, and today i have been painting the little room that joins the kitchen (not really big enough to be called a utility). Anyway, Steel had been very quiet, and i thought he had managed to sneak into my bedroom to go to sleep on the bed. that's normally where he is when he disappears. Popped in to make a cuppa and found this:

a trail of fluff led me to the culprit, although the look on his face says he's denying all knowledge. (also note the paint splodges down one side where he managed to squeeze past my legs!) Looks like butter wouldn't melt!

this is the third bed in a month, but if he doesn't have one, he ends up with the hair rubbed off his legs and tummy. I tired the thin beds and mats, but he won't sleep on those. I suppose they are no fun as there's no stuffing!

:)

  that face looks like its saying wasnt me iv been here the whole time :- "

Seeing as there's only me and him in the house, and it certainly wasn't me, and the look says it wasn't him, i can only assume that once again the phantom bed killer has been about

Other things done by the phantom:

New ottoman - lasted a week before someone chewed all the corners off the lid.

Hole chewed in stairs carpet by Mr Nobody

More carpet and underlay eaten by Mr Nobody. (Also looks like 'someone' has chewed a toothpaste box out of the bin since i last went up there too!)

Good news is the bed is still useable  He's still there now.
