....well almost! :p Jonah just loves to walk along this wall everytime we go down that way!

What a dare devil. No way Connie would attempt something like that unless it involved a rabbit!

Awww he looks very happy walking along the wall :D :huggles:

Clever Jonah, Brains and Beauty

I couldn't see mine doing that. Bit of a dare-devil I'd say :D

  Clever boy Jonah

Star walks on the wall along our local seafront  but it's not as high as that wall

I have witnessed this and its very scarey (w00t) he's very agile isn't he - not like my two

He's jumped walls ever since he was quite little - needless to say we have to be a bit careful when we're out in case he tries to jump something with a huge drop on the other side!!! (w00t) :sweating: Funny how he always walks along this one in the same place. No way would Muffin do the same though!!! o:)

Just a few more pics from the same walk - testing out my new compact camera.

The reservoir has hardly any water in it, but I don't think it's from lack of rain. It's so low that I think United Utilities must be carrying out some maintenance but it's great for the whippets to run about on :teehee:

What's Jonah found?

Bones from a long dead bird! :x

But he's not letting Muffin share it! :-

Then it's back home along the sunlit path :huggles:

Which reservoir was that - looks like the second one behind your house?? Is it Ardenfield (I can't remember the name of the three reservoirs??)

My last dog jumped from the top of the building at the side of the reserviour wall right next to the road to Hadfield!!!! Heart was in my mouth to say the least -plus he survived the lamblasting I give!!

Lovely to see the area again!!!

You're right about it being the 2nd reservoir which is Valehouse. The name you're trying to remember is Arnfield and that's on the other side of the road down towards Hollingworth. The other 5 in order from the one nearest the village are Bottoms, Valehouse, Rhodeswood (my favourite to walk around), Torside and Woodhead. I'm trying to picture which building you mean - will have a proper look when I'm out next. Hope Macey continues to improve and she's back home with you soon. :huggles:

OMG, there is quite a drop on the other side of that wall, isn't there!!!

The trees behind it are only showing half way up

You must have been horrified the first time he did that!!!!!

........... what a lovely walk :D

Don't worry Jane - it's not as bad as you think! :D The ground slopes away on the other side and the trees are growing half way down - I should think the drop from the wall is only 3 or 4 feet. :p I always check what's on the other side of a wall because Jonah loves jumping them and if there's even any slight hint of danger he is on a lead!!! :sweating: The only danger from that wall is when it's been raining - it gets a bit slippery and I do worry a bit about him slipping off awkwardly and hurting himself but you can see how much he loves being a daredevil!

Just seen the rest of your photographs Gillian, they are lovely...Muffin is so like Oscar sometimes its unreal...

Jonah's definitely a bit of a daredeveil isn't he? Funnily enough Fred liked to walk along our reservoir wall in his younger days. He won't jump walls though...just liked to balance along this one. When he used to have his corn, he'd walk quite happily along narrow curbstones rather than the pavement. I think they were cats in a former life.
