This morning at work I had 2 abusive phone calls of my sons phone. I knew it wasn't Ben. The things that were said he would never have said to me.
I phoned the school and said I was concerned as I didn't know if it was his 'mates' messing around or if it had been stolen. At the same time his dad had gone to the school as he too had received abusive phone calls. They called Ben out of his class and he said his phone was missing. They think it was stolen whilst he was doing PE and it must be someone in his PE group as the changing rooms are kept locked. His mate discovered later he had had his Ipod stolen too.
I ended up finishing work as his dad couldn't find the contract to contact 3. We then called 3 and had the phone and sim blocked so it is no use to anyone.
The community police officer is attached to the school and they searched 4 kids bags but couldn't find the phone. I also phoned the police but they say they can do nothing unless the school has evidence.
The annoying thing is the phone was Ben's christmas present he had it early as it is on a contract. 3 are sending a replacement sim and the phone is not covered on the insurance but I have phoned the house insurers and they will cover the phone so at least he will get a new phone although not the same as he had before
