Toddy, Bella, Lilly and Misty have a new little sister called Daisy.

Daisy is a very special little girl who has come to us from a loving young family who could no longer manage Daisy's seroius health problems.

She arrived yesterday evening and has settled in perfectly with her new 'pack'.

Daisy is a beautiful dainty little girl and we are most grateful to her former owner who has made the heart wrenching decision to part with her.

It takes a lot of courage to part with a dog that is so loved in its best long term interests and my heart goes out to Daisy's former family because Daisy is a little darling girl. Full of fun and so loving.

Daisy will require a lot of veterinary supervision but I hope in time that she will overcome her present health issues and become fit and well.

Many thanks goes to all the people (you know who you are  o:) ) who have helped her on her journey to Scotland.

Good luck, little Daisy :luck:

Enjoy your lovely new family

Daisy may be tiny but she is making her presence felt. She and Toddy seem to be soumates.

So far she is getting on really well with the others and is relaxed and happy.

I was a bit concerned about taking on whippet no 5 as Bella can be a bit of a handful but so far so good.

She certainly has Bella 'sorted' :D :-

How wonderful that Daisy has came to stay with you. I hope that her health improves, she is a beautiful girl lots of luck with her :)

What a little sweetheart. Good luck managing her health issues and let us know how she goes on.

Just noticed this, she's a sweet little girl

Must have been awful to part with her, very sad. She

looks a tad thin in the pictures is this due to her health

problems ?

Glad she has settled in so quickly for you, amazing

really aren't they :))

Daisy is very thin. She is 2 years old and only weighs 7.5kg at 17"

She has significant bowel problems and does not appear to digest her food very well. She is presently on a Pork and Potato diet. Her bowels to appear to be settling a bit. I will keep her on this diet and have her weighed regularly for the next 6 weeks. If she does not gain weight, I will then ask the vets to run the full remit of tests. I do not want to rush into the tests as the stress of the vets could worsen her condition.

Daisy is also being given 'Billy no mates' (for preventing fleas and ticks). It had an amazing curative effect on Toddy's IBS and has cured the stomach discomfort Lilly was getting after eating. It contains Tumeric, seaweed and fenugreek and she is tolerating it well so far.

Bless her, i hope she continues to improve on her new diet.

Pork and potato....i could manage that if it came in the form

of a nice chop and chunky chips lol
