He's back home now and been restitched and they put a new drain in , the muscle looks good so no problems there and fingers crossed this lot of stitching does the trick .

Drain comes out saturday and then stitches out on the 11th jan .

Glad Oliver is on the mend poor wee soul he would have got a big fright as well as u trish and Graham hope he gets on ok at the vets getting his drain out xxx

Just a quick update for those that have been asking after oliver , he's doing really well and the wound is looking so much better now .

We will be glad to get his stitches out in another week cause they do tickle him now :thumbsup:

oliver has now had 2 free runs and looked really good and didnt have no problems after and no limp so far so good so the future looks good for him.thanks to everyone for their concern

poor oliver this is so shocking! my jack is just getting over a staffy attack which wasnt on the lead (my 3 were) jack has 10 punture wounds to his body and 2 3 inch cutsto his chest but not deep thank god hes very shakin by it as he was attacked by one as a 14 week old puppy which ran out of a shop door that was open. in october my other 2 dogs were attacked by a off lead staffy and because i tried to pull their staffy off mine the owners of the staffy turned on me punching and kicking me to the ground while their staffy was trying to grab my head in its jaws. the only thing i can hope and pray for is that the law go"s through that they have to be muzzled on or off lead in public. hope oliver is ok.

been to the beach today with the gang and oliver was back to his old self.he didnt stop chasing the golf balls his fave thing he has spent all the time since we got home flaked out on the duvet fast asleep. :thumbsup:

Hope jack heals well and is soon back to his normal self , im hearing more and more attacks on dogs by staffies , hope one day the law does change to protect our dogs and ourselfs .

Oliver is back to normal and luckily still is very friendly with our dogs )

Dont know what went wrong yesterday but my two old ones had a fight and Towy the old girl ended up in the vets looking very similar to your boy, she got two pipes in her now, one either side of her chest to allow drainage, cant believe the bad luck i've had the past 6 months, Towy is 14 and Badger 12, never had a problem between them before.

Oh that must have been a shock for you , it would be even worse when your own as caused the fight cause now you will have to watch them like a hawk .
