iv not really put anything on for a while, i have been trying to keep up with new threads (though not doing very well with it)

heres a wee update for those of you not on facebook lol

After all the neighbour problems we gave up and decided enough was enough lets move so finally we moved house in the middle of may to balerno, the total other side of the city, but all are so far loving it!!

we've not really done much, been so busy with the move, and the garden was a big state when we moved in so we've been working hard most nights and weekends to try get it done (having a break from the garden tonight)

OH set up his pc and it worked for about a day then went boom, so havnt been able to upload any pics, (not that ive taken many either :- )

Ruby and Star have been no problem and have taken the move all in their stride.

they were at the vet yesterday for their booster and didnt even flinch :huggles:

we're just a bit stuck on places to walk here, theres a little park just 2 mins walk, but it always seems to be packed with kids, and my girlies love kids so much the just want to jump all over them and kiss them so they are stuck on the lead,

my neighbour told me about one place Harlaw Reservoir which is really lovley but we could really do with a couple more places to walk, so if there is anyone living over the west side of edinburgh please let me know of any nice walks where my girlies can go and have a run. :)

anyway here the couple of pics i have taken,

I bet your all glad of the fresh starts away from the nasty nabour the girls sam happy with the new garden aswell good luck with it

so pleased your well and that it all worked out in the end the girls are looking good

I used to live in Juniper Green. There is the water of Leith walkway which I think you can access at Currie. It goes all the way down past Colinton. In fact I think, it can be accessed from around Malleny gardens. You can also walk from the start of the canal at Westerhailes all the way to Fountainbridge in Edinburgh. There is also a lovely walk behind the Sports centre at Craiglockhart that goes behind the merchants golfcourse.

If you Google your local area and then zoon out a bit you should be able to find all these places.

That's great all has worked out for you  Sorry can't help you with walks on the West side I live in the South side and there is lots of nice walks like the Pentlands, Hermitage, Braidburn, Blackford hill etc. If you have a car it's not too far from you

Hi again K4tie, I'd been wondering how you were getting on. So glad that you have found a lovely new home, sometimes you just have to leave trouble behind you and move on. The reservoir looks a great place for walking - the girls are looking wonderful    Best of luck in your new place :luck: :luck: :luck:

I've been wondering how you've all been getting on too. I don't do Facebook, so thanks for updating us here. Hope all continues to go well, and look forward to more walk/whippet photos once you're settled. That reservoir looks ideal.......

Glad to hear all has worked out with your move too, now you can get some peace and just enjoy the summer (if it stops raining :- )

Can't help with walks but what I find round here is that once you get out and about you see other walkers and can watch where they go :)
