I love stougeron (sp?)

Ben has settled to eating 2 times a day now (he leaves his lunch meal) so he has his weetabix and goats milk from breaky which is what I gave him this morning.

I gave him a travel sickness pill at 4pm as he was booked in at the vets for 6.30pm to have his tooth checked out as he has 5 K9s as the puppy one is still firmly in his mouth at the top right.

Anyway, he drove a whole 10 miles there and 10 miles back and a couple of times got drooly but nothing else :sweating:

Thank goodness

We are hoping to go with the dogs in the camper at half term so I hope Ben's play stints in the camper on sunny days where he goes in and out as he pleases with Sidney to lie down have helped him like the camper, as he hated the volvo and would shake if he figured out he was off out in it.

So YAY... he is a little short of 7 months old and I hope we have cracked it

Aw bless, it isn't nice is it?

Poor babies, you have to look for the signs that they are feeling pukey... ben does a forces smile and drules

What did I say?!

Glad to hear that it worked for him though, it is miserable for both you and him when they're like that

Crikey see how big Noah and Jacob are getting!

I will have to take some photos of S&B over the next few days :huggles:

(w00t) Great news, Rachel!!!!!

I do hope the improvement continues for you and Ben :D

Funny how they take a dislike to some vehicles and not others

All four of mine get travel sick but are more tolerant in the landrover than in the vectra.

The main problem I have is the 2 miles of bumpy country lane before I get anywhere near a road with a smooth surface :( It doesn't help one little bit :x :x

I had to take Ella, Irie and Sox to the vet this afternoon - all three of them were sick, twice each! :(

LOL yes you are a star :huggles:

Why thank you!!

Seriously though, it is amazing how quickly they take effect and once that psychological barrier is broken they get over it in no time.

I shudder at the thought of another travel sick puppy :sweating:

LOL

I think that is what the few moments of drule is all about once we set off with Ben, because once we are on our way he settles down and either has his head out of the window or is asleep.

i was given a tip the other day and would like some of you with sicky puppies to try it , pack the back of car with many thick layers of newspapers , dont open the papers just do stacks like that and then place a comfy blanket over it , it is supposed to absorb some of the motion of the car and will work with travel sick people 2 newspapers under bottom and 2 under foot and thats supposed to work , please try it , im trying it on my mammoth trek tomorrow

Glad to hear that you are getting some sick-free journeys

Deedee was dreadful and would do both ends in 10 minutes.. :x

I gave her travel-eaze the night before a journey and this worked, with a top up in the morning. She still refuses to get in the car though!!

Willow also had her canine second teeth through while the puppy ones were still firmly in place, looked very freaky but another couple of weeks they were out

Hope it's and end to Ben's travel sickness :))

Tracey x

Glad you've had success.

We also had a spew free trip to the beach today - I think Sophie is growing out of the travel sickness, plus she has learned to hop in the car and go to sleep - think that helps too. I had heard of giving pups a junket tablet - tried it when Rosie was little - helped a bit but then she just seemed to grow out of it.

tanya remeber when we came down to yours last year with my lot or 3 of them Mikey had never been further than the vets in the car. I put a load of papers in the cage with him and Owen and he was fine but when we went to the vets we had both ends going :x :x

Aw bless.... yes we have lots of twisty roads to get out of the village to a main one but I think sitting in the car while it is in the drive has helped him a lot.

Have you tried the pills jane?
