A lovely well marked pup ,think he looks like a Bill maybe ?

As he is going to be a very confident and outgoing lad I think his name should reflect that. They are, as I am learning, a breed who think that they are as big as any dog they meet. Nothing phases Rebus and I don't think I have come across many JRT's that are scared of their own shadow. I would imagine that he is going to be full of fun and mischief and will rule your mum's house like a good un.

I spent several nights on my own quite recently whilst the OH was in hospital. Rebus slept at my side the entire time and did not move an inch. Any strange noises he was on guard immediately. I felt very safe, yet he is such a little thing. The only real thing I have found that he does not like is the smoke alarm.

Think i better start drawing up a shortlist :)

I've come to this late. Tig makes me thing of Tigger/Tiger which seems like a name for a brindle dog. In fact some children asked me the name of my brindle whippet and then said "You should call him Tigger" because of the stripes.

The pup picture makes me think of a Guinea pig. Of course there won't be the same resemblance as he matures, but I think Guinea is quite a nice name and a bit unusual (you could get more dogs and name them Shilling and Penny)

also, a name that sounds like Tig is Tadhg (Teague) the Irish Gaelic equivalent of Timothy
