Well, OK then, having considered the options and scanned the horizon and not seen anything more interesting to do, and given that you might have sausage then just this once I will do as I'm asked - but don't start expecting this every time! 8)

Sophie (Whippet/Collie)

Excellent, a training opportunity! If I run over and sit down smartly in front of her mum is supposed to give me sausage. She's getting quite good but not 100% consistent yet, sometimes I just get a fuss and a 'good girl', what's the point of that? There, she got it right that time, but her speed of response still needs some work, shall we try that again mum? :unsure:

Susie - Exactly like your Jess ( that really made me smile )

Taran ... (who until a week or two ago was connected to me by an invisible piece of elastic, but now ...) I don't have to come back you know, you can't make me, I mean I might come back, but only if I decide I want to ... oops, don't go without me ... coming now ... waaaiiittttt for me!

Collectively though when they are called together there's a moment when they all look at each other to see who will break first ... usually it's Tyg ... and then back they all come ... no doubt with Finn and Taran thinking, Ha, well if he's going we will, can't let him have all the goodies!

I won't run away, just wander about out of reach. Right, you've started the car, so what, I'm going down here. Now where have you gone, it's gone quiet, help, all on my own. I can hear Poppy whining, I'm coming straight away and I'll be good next time. If I remember.

Most of the time they are very good and come when called. Just try it on for fun I am sure.

Just spent over an hour in the field with Bluebells friend who would not come back to her owner...just dance around just out of grasp...cornered her and grabbed her in the end...she is not going off again until they have done some big training sessions and attached some washing line!!!

Dolly - Why do you bother calling me as I am usually beside your left pocket waiting for the next treat, except of course when I have found some fox poo to roll in which is so much more enjoyable than any treat in your pocket. :-

Remmy - I'm coming as fast as I can. I turn on a sixpence and run so fast that I skid to a halt ready to get my treat, :sweating: except of course if I see a squirrel, and then I don't hear you calling at all!!

Bobby - Hang on a minute or five while I have a good sniff in the grass and cock my leg. When I am ready I'll race towards you for my treat, even though I have totally ignored you for five minutes. Still, you always give me a reward, however long I take to come back, so I never bother to rush myself. :*
