Bless the little girlie

It's so nice to hear that she's safe and sound with you, Janet :huggles:

Good luck to you in finding her a very special forever sofa :luck: :luck:

I agree with you wholeheartedly Janet, Martina and her crew do a fantastic job - without them who would know what dogs were locked away in that awful place just waiting for their pts date to come up?

So glad this little scrap is with people who care about her future now, but i can't help thinking of the not so lucky ones left behind :(

well done to everyone involved - you really have made a difference to this wee girlie

Quick update on her majesty

She ate her super, had a good long drink of water and settled on the sofa (w00t) I hadn't the heart to move her, she looked so content, so, you guessed it, that's where she spent the night

She was in the same place when I went in just now, fast asleep, not a mark in the living room , though I did put newspapers down just in case. I took her out for a short walk and she did all her business, came back in the house and has now had her breakfast. She'll be out in one of my indoor runs whilst I'm at work, but all in all she seems pretty settled, she's watching TV as we speak     I'll get you an update when we've been to the vets, but to be honest a good comfortable nights sleep seems to have worked wonders!!!

Janet

This is great, such a happy end...well done all who were involved in rescue...

Hope poor little girl will recover soon... :huggles:

Can not believe though, what terrible kennels there are in Ireland...gosh..how these cruel people can sleep at night ..dreadful!... ...

So pleased she is out of that place. Well done all concerned

Pauline & Ruby

Well, that's Irish if ever I heard it  but good on you all for rescuing this little girl, she sounds a real sweetheart. And what's the chances of her never leaving Pam's ???? ...................... :- "

Hi all,
Have just this minute got in the door with Victoria      She's in a pretty pitiful state, very thin, dirty, no fleas though, but red raw in places and probably full of worms. She got in our livng room , picked up a little toy and headed straight for a comfy quilt!! Am going to get her settled for the night, and get her to the vets tomorrow for a check, then she's off to 05whippet at the weekend til she's up to being spayed.

Without the help of a lot of people Victoria may have been PTS, in my opinion Dublin dog pounds carry out a form of pest control, and in most cases they don't put any effort into rehoming, only for Martina and her band of fellow dog lovers we would never know about these poor animals

Hopefully this one will have a happy ending, Victoria has never stopped wagging her little tail since we met

Will post some pics when she's settled

so pleased this little girl is out of there, well done to everyone involved in getting her out,and yes shes one of the lucky ones, sadly theres many more who arent so lucky :(

no dog should have to sleep in a plastic bed with no blankie to curl up with but especially a fine coated breed like a whippy.now shes got a whole sofa to herself. :D

again well done to martina for going onto the pound and taking pics of the dogs in there to try to find homes for them.without her doing that there wouldnt be any knowing what dogs are in there. :huggles:

That's brillant news I'm soooooo pleased that Victoria is out of that awful kennel & in a nice warm home all snuggled up! :huggles: :huggles: :huggles:

Well done to Pamela & Janet your absolute stars!

Good luck :luck: with Victoria going forward & I look forward to hearing more about her in the future.

Only just caught this, huge well done to everyone involved. Bless her, she sounds a real sweetheart :huggles:

So very glad Victoria is in safe place with people who are passionate about the welfare of dogs. It is terrible how dogs are treated by people in this so called civilized country.

A huge huge huge very well done to everyone involved in this happy ending

Here are a few pics, we had her at the vet tonight and there appear to be no major problems so here's hoping she makes a full recovery.................

As you can see she's a bit thin (w00t) (w00t)
