It's a huge relief to know that you finally spoke to Martina :sweating: and that you have arranged for Victoria's rescue

I'm very, very glad it all worked out and I do hope the little girl will have a lovely forever sofa to go to now :huggles: :huggles:

Very pleased that another poor soul is about to be rescued. Well done to those all involved :huggles:

That's fantastic news. Can't bear to think of her all alone in that concrete run with only a hard plastic bed to lie on. :(

Hi Pamela,

That is fantastic news  well done to you and Whippetwise for getting her out of that hellhole

Is it that you have to wait until Wednesday to see if anyone will claim her?

Thanks everyone for the support,it is so nice to know that there are so many people out there who have our lovely breeds' best interests at heart :huggles:

To answer the above question...yes,she has to stay in until Wednesday when her week is up to see if she gets claimed or not.

I'll keep you updated on her progress

Pamela.

Well done Pamela...hope she isn't claimed because she can't have had a very good home to be so poor...although I suppose she could have been a stray a long time. After Wednesday she will have a comfy bed and be warm, and maybe soon get a smile on that sad little face.

What a terrible aweful kennels... :( that poor poor girl... :(

Well done to everyone on here that has helped her...look forward to seeing the outcome...

She will now be picked up on Wednesday as the vet has said that she is far too thin to undergo an operation,so we shall have to build her up first and then tackle the speying op at a later date.

Pamela

at least we know she'll be with people from Wednesday that will help her build some substance up, and give her the tlc she so obviously needs......so glad the whippie folk over the Irish Sea have been able to step in and help -

 Pamela

She will be fostered by me in our home until she is strong enough to have her op and then we will look for the right person for her so that she can have the lovely forever home that all dogs deserve. :huggles:

be replaced with a happy one :huggles:

Will you keep us updated on her pamela, some photos when she is out and safe with you would be lovely.

Hi there,

Just wondering if things have gone to plan with Victoria

yes please keep us updated on her progress Pamela.

Hi all,

Have just this minute got in the door with Victoria   She's in a pretty pitiful state, very thin, dirty, no fleas though, but red raw in places and probably full of worms. She got in our livng room , picked up a little toy and headed straight for a comfy quilt!! Am going to get her settled for the night, and get her to the vets tomorrow for a check, then she's off to 05whippet at the weekend til she's up to being spayed.

Without the help of a lot of people Victoria may have been PTS, in my opinion Dublin dog pounds carry out a form of pest control, and in most cases they don't put any effort into rehoming, only for Martina and her band of fellow dog lovers we would never know about these poor animals

Hopefully this one will have a happy ending, Victoria has never stopped wagging her little tail since we met

Will post some pics when she's settled
