On the beach this morning i was chatting to a lady while her 2 Labradors had a

run about with the girls.

She asked if they were Italian Greyhounds and when i said no she asked were

there such a thing as Italians or had she dreamed it

After watching them for a while she said the girls reminded of Dragonflies.......

i cant see the connection there can you......

Do you mean to say your girls can't fly (w00t) (w00t)

Mmm.. strange comparison to make, but I guess I can see what she means. I think whippets are like deer and lambs the way they sometimes bounce when they play.

Alison my girls think they can fly when they jump about

on those dunes down the beach

Sorry Katie lol

I thought being little angels they would surely have wings o:)

Ruby is a lurcher not a whippet - but I took this photo of her yesterday and her ears look like insect wings to me! (I think she was just popping thm up when the click went.)

I suppose they are fast, elegant and turn on a sixpence. Can't see wings on mine either but they do have these funny little horney things coming out of their heads.
