It does, doesn't it

It is held in that positition by a special molded cast, with the bandage over the top. The idea being that the broken bits of bone are held together.

I know this is not a recent picture but I thought you'd like to see Muffin taken last April when he was only 5 months. He ran off from us and was very lucky to get away with a couple of nasty cuts on his leg. :( I think he looks really cute in this pic, but then I'm biased anyway! ;)

 So sweet, love his mauve bandage

Poor Freeway hope he feels better soon, he must be a very good whippet, that bandage would be very frayed by now if it was on one of mine.

Should have added how much I like the picture of Freeway and his blue bandage! Like Paula I'm impressed that he hasn't bitten it off o:) - that's why Muffin has his covered with a fetching plastic bag? :- "

He has a lovely neck dispite the lamb castrating ring :- " , but I hope the vet didnt set his leg at that bendy angle or he will forever be going around in circles. (w00t)

i would post a pic of gypsys lovely yellow bandage that she had on when she cut her pad a few weeks ago....but i wasnt quick enough....it lasted approx 12 minutes (w00t) ...they didnt bother with another...lol

get well soon to all the poorly whippies

The only reason he's not bothered with the bandage is his minds else where.............

Tillys in full season

Vet says shes going to tell all owners of Male dogs with bandages, to get a bitch in season now !!!!!!!! (w00t)

I have finally got round to charging up the camera and getting some shots of his Lordship, sorry for the delay. I also apologise for not matching Freeway and Zephyr as we are now sporting "Manly Red"

When I was resizing this pic I noticed that poor Jake is obviously desperate for "poorly whippet treats" as he has fashioned a sock into a cast in a last ditch bid for extra attention (w00t)

Ollie is VERY pleased to see that Muffin has to suffer the indignity of having a used drip bag to cover the bandage for toilet stops 8) :- " :b

And another to show Ollie's only source of entertainment at the mo, that is when he is let out of prison (everyone else will know this as a crate :( )

It's the only thing that I can give him that he isn't desperate for me to throw (w00t)
