well the vet has just rang to say although hes in a mess she doesnt think he has broken his leg its possible nerve damage but his jaw on the other hand is in a real mess but she wont know untill tomorrow the extent of the damage and if it can't be repaired then unfortunately the kindest thing for him will be to put him to sleep  :(   im just hoping its not too bad as hes been my buddy now for 8 years  :(
:huggles: Im hoping you get good news today :luck:

Do so hope that you get some positive news today. Really sorry to read of the injuries. Can only just wish him the very best of luck.

Oh no, Im really sorry :( Everything crossed he is going to be ok. the same thing happened to my dear Gough several yrs ago, He got knocked over and we found him dead down next-door-but-ones alleyway, he obviously tried to make it home but couldnt :(

Really hoping your boy makes it :luck: :luck: :luck: :huggles:

This is a heartbreaking thread.

I'm so, so sorry Kelly. My cats mean the world to me and I have only just lost TC from a reaction to anaesthesia when he was having a routine op :(

I really hope the vet will give your boy a chance - they can work miracles now and there are specialist vets around who can provide the best technical knowledge there is.

I am so paranoid about my cats getting hurt that I live in the middle of nowhere so that they can be as safe as possible. But even with the isolation, I still keep the two siamese people indoors permanently to avoid disaster as they don't have the savvy of my other moggies.

Keeping my fingers well and truly crossed for your boy.

Good luck, little man :luck: :luck: :luck: :luck:

Im so sorry... :( its so soul distroying....such idiots on the road.

I do hope its better news at the vets for you today... :huggles: :huggles: :luck:

only just seen this :(

hope you get some good news, sending positive vibes for you :huggles:

Hi, just seen this.

I am so so sorry to hear about your cat. How awful, accidents happen, but to just leave an animal in the road is so heartless.

I hope he is ok :huggles:

I saw a cat get ran over on when i was on holiday and the person didn't slow down or stop, just left it there.

Sending good thoughts your way :huggles:

:( sorry to hear about this - how anyone could leave him is beyond me :luck: he makes a good recovery

:( Hope your cat pulls through. My friend has just gone through the same thing with her little cat, only 12 months old. She got a phone call from someone who had found her cat by the roadside but sadly he was dead by the time she ran round to get him :( Again, the driver didn't bother to stop

Just hope they all get what they deserve one day

Good Luck :luck:

Awww Kelly - thinking about you and Max lots. :huggles: :huggles: :huggles:

He won't be in pain I'm sure and he's not distressed, so its worth giving him a bit of time. The vet will let you know if they feel its not working

Take care dearest :huggles: :huggles: :huggles:

:luck: Best wishes to you and your cat. Don't give up hope - my cat was run over, his tail was stripped of all its fur and his jaw boken and he made a full recovery. All his teeth looked like they were squashed flat but he came back as good as new :luck:

Its amazing how they can come back from the brink....remember the nine lives... :luck:

Good luck Max :luck:
