William had another visit to the vets on Monday night. This time he saw my own vet and confirmed that the wounds were presure sores that had most likely got infected and burst most probably caused by lying on concrete because he was to hot .It was very hot in our area during our holiday.

He has now gone on 10 days of antibiotics and has some cream to to be put on twice a day.He also weighed him again and he has put on 2 pounds since Friday which he said was brilliant he doesn't need to go back unless we think he's not improving or healing properly.

The whippets were back to normal after a day or so and back to their normal silly selves so hopefully everything will be ok nowand William be son be back to his normal self too. He hasn't realy barked since he came back hopefuly that is one thing that will stay as he thinks I can't hear the alarm going of in the morning unless he barks like mad.

Will try to get some more photos of him at the weekend so you can see if you think he is getting better
