It is now 4 weeks since William's accident. He is now happily walking on his leg if I just walk him he is sound if I let him trot slowly he is very slightly lame but if I run him as if I as showing him he is lame. Dispite this he is geting better every day now and we think it will only be a matter of time before he is sound again. He is back to acting the :clown: and has started to play us up again .The mainproblem is trying to decide exactly how lame he is and how much he is putting it on :- " When he starts limping on the wrong leg I know he is ok again

We would like to thank everyone for their kind thoughts during this time especially Tanya's friens Leon and Angie for there advise with him

thats great news hun :huggles: wont be long til the donkey is back in my kitchen pretending to be a roundabout :- " (w00t)

lots of love from us all here and will see leon and angie tomorrow so will pass your thanks to them both

That's wonderful to hear. Lots of good wishes for his continued recovery :luck:

that is good news helen - give the big lummox a squeeze from me and the boys

Good news,

I used to look after a greyhound ( many years ago ) who was as sound as a pound until the parade on a race night (w00t) Of course the `punters ` would see this poor lame dog being paraded and we d have no choice to to pull him out  the vet would check him ove r, move him up and down , no problem , sound as a pound but take him to the line up of dogs and off hed go again

How did we get round it ,? told them he wouldnt walk to traps so just carried him to traps , and he never had a `proper `days lameness in his life ;)

Have you thought about putting a bandage on Williams good leg , to confuse him ? We`ve done that too  and it worked , the dog couldnt remember which leg it was supposed to limp on

well done, William, so glad he's on the mend....made me really laugh that he some times limps on the wrong leg :clown:

So glad to hear William is on the mend. :luck:
