Woody was putting his foot down this morning, so he is a lot better but we decided to still go to have an expert view.

The x-rays showed that the joint is looking very good but that the bit of bone that she'd had to cut off had moved slightly further apart at the bottom end. :( The top pin has held which is good and the break in that bit is healing. We know that he isn't rejecting the pins which I know some peoples dogs have had problems with.

It is worrying because we don't know how it happened so we can't stop it from happening again. Anyway we go back again on the 3rd Nov for another x-ray. Hopefully by then it'll be looking much better.

With any luck we'll be back down at Honiton next Saturday with Jest being x-rayed he poor boy has to have a GA because she has to get a front view of the shoulder joint as well as a side one. Then if it shows up a problem we can start to get him sorted out. I say with any luck because he's booked into the emergency slot and if an emergency comes in then he'll have his x-ray appointment moved to the following Saturday.

I dunno I'll stick out like a sore thumb at racing next year, I'll be the one who has no hair left due to it all being pulled out. :- "

Fingers and everything else crossed for Woody,Barbara and for Jest next Saturday as well. What a time you are having to go through (don't worry about your hair we will all have a whip round for a wig for you!!!)

Thinking of you all Pat,Sidney & George xx
