Dilly is a gorgeous name, this story has really touched my husband who normally takes no notice of my attempts to involve him in my whippet obsession ;) The first thing he asked when he got home from work yesterday was how is the poor skinny mum and her pups, Dilly has the most gorgeous expression, she has completely won my hubby over

We both look forward to updates on this lovely girl and her pups

She's so beautiful and her story is so heartbreaking. Here's to good times ahead for Dilly. I'm trying to persuade my husband that we should get a rescue whippie girl sooner rather than later...

She IS beautiful and this story really upset us (my husband and me). Please keep us informed as to Dilly's progress and how her puppies are coming along.

Thank you Sarah.

best wishes

Gill

We really really need more pictures you know how we all love puppies

Will be going to visit them this weekend so will take lots of photos then

I am so glad she and her pups have a chance to have love in their lives, I honestly do not know how people who do these heartless things can sleep at night. I really do hope that there is karma in these cases and nobody is there for them when they need help.

How wonderful that this girl and her pups have been found and being well cared for now, she has such a sweet and gentle face  It is sickening to think that someone could just leave her like that

I've ordered one as well  Hope you feel better soon btw

Thank you everyone, we have had a great response to the Whippet Air fresheners, in fact they are now sold out! (w00t) We will be ordering more in so dont worry if you missed out this time round ;) I am going to visit Dilly and her babies tomorrow, cant wait to see them! :huggles:

Ordered my three which arrived yesterday, super quick and my wet dog car now has a fresh, fragrant pong!

This is most welcome because Gracie stank it out with a roll in glorious fox poo and a rumble in a freshly slurried field :x

Don't know what these farmers use in their slurry but it's positively toxic not the nice manurey smell that I remember from my childhood! Look forward to seeing pics of the lovely Dilly and her babies.

opps meant to say I got mine too...thanks so much xx

Well what an absolute sweetheart Dilly is, she was a little shy and nervous of us at first but soon the tail was wagging and she was even jumping up for a bit of attention. She must have been hit before because when you go to pet her she flinches and closes her eyes tightly expecting the worst. She is so gentle and sweet, an absolute darling  Her puppies are little porkers as you can see!

They were boarded up in there with no food or water! She could not have got in there by herself. You can see by the state of her she was not just left there for a night or two without anything to eat or drink! Sorry Seraphina but this was an act of abandonment.

None of us knows what has happened. As we have not seen the barn it is not possible to be sure there was not some small gap she could have gotten in. Sometimes a loose board or sheet of metal can easily be pushed one way, to get in but not the other way to get out again. Or it is possible that somebody boarded it up not realizing she was in there.

Why would this nasty owner not try to flog her for few hundred pounds if he could not be bothered whelping her? In any case even if the pups are not purebred Whippets he would probably get something for them in a pet shop.

Yes, the pups look nice and chuuby and healthy. They and their mum are very lucky indeed.

OMG! She looks so very beautiful and sweet! If my hubby wouldn't kill me :b i'd love to put her on a plane and send her to Oz! She is so much like my beautiful girl Kenya.

I hope someone very special gets this precious girl....
