Gorgeous little pups Janice, and Roxy looks a good mum.       They are all really lovely, but I particularly like the 2 brindle/white boys - they look to have very similar markings.

Are you adding to your whippet family? :p

A beautiful litter

Janis that black and white boy is just so lush..................

 Gorgeous!! black and white boy is yummy :)) ..........which one is yours then Janice? :- o:)

I adore the brindle and white boys esp the one on his own on left of 1st picture

Well done taking Hubby along ;)

Have you decided on which one yet Janice? :D :-

Lovely friesian whippets! (w00t) I love the all black but aren't they all just so beautiful.

wow arent they adorable..thought they were all black and white

well done

Too tiny to be picked up and messed about with. I never picked up any of the puppies I bred after the bitch had whelped and I had sussed out dogs and bitches. Mum was left alone to be quiet and get to know her babies. Less stress for her. I think it is so wrong to do all this picking up for photos.

Must be old fashioned in my outlook, but ll the books on breeding say the same.

Mum was having a break outside at the time Ann, and we did not stress the puppies out at all, so when Roxy came back in she was totally

fine with what we were doing Im pleased to say.

As you say Old Fashioned YES.....Archie was brought up in the very same household by the same breeder.....handled on a daily basis and hes absolutely bomb proof and

a very confident dog. I think thats the difference of being brought up in a family environment. The bitch has plenty quiet time with her puppies I

can assure you and we would never do anything to harm those puppies, or do anything that Roxy wouldnt like.....they were not out for that long really

then returned to mam with no effects whatsoever.

Its just the same really when they are dew clawed.....the mum has to be removed for that process too, so no difference really. In my opinion a very much better environment

than stuck outside in a kennel, like some breeders

and by the way, I didnt have the flash on the camera either.

Can't you just say something nice for a change  it was the same when Sienna had her accident everyone was really supportive and you said it was cruel to get her better, she has a wonderful quality of life so thank god she's mine and not yours, then you wonder why people get on your case

Sorry if I offended you. I think I must be so out of the loop with regard to puppies. Mine were precious and not to be handled until I knew mum was okay about it. No visitors for the first few days. A quick look from the door but no closer. Maybe I am wrong but I cared about my puppies. I was just voicing MY opinion, other people can take it or leave it. Why have a go at me???????????? You and others always think I am being horrid. Does no one else speak their minds on here????

I personally could not have put Sienna through what you did, You did what you thought was best for your dog, that was your decision not mine. This is an open forum remember that please and don't have a go at me.

Its maybe the way you voice your opinion Ann.....if you cant say anything nice dont say anything at all....

it always sounds likes its you thats having a go....I remember now Lesleys thread about Sienna, and I voiced my opinion that youd been very unkind to Lesley

after all shed done for Sienna, to turn round and say that was horrid

I put these photos on myself of the pups, not because anyone asked me too...I enjoyed visiting the pups and it was such a happy occasion and I wanted

to share it with other people....so please dont turn this thread into an argument....

why bother picking fault with what other people do....its the breeders pups after all.... and btw they also care for their pups too and the bitch

if youd bothered to look right through my photos on facebook, you would have seen all their dogs are very well cared for and I do think they would take

great offence at you saying what you did.

Thanks for sharing them Janis.

Janis don't get yourself upset you are one of the nicest people on any of the

forums and i dont know of anyone with a bad word for you. I know for a

fact that you wouldn't do anything to upset this girl or her pups.

They are a lovely litter janis,

there is no need to get upset janis you know the owners,

and they were happy with the situation and so was the mum, so take what others say with a pinch of salt,
