Hi there,

Cookie is 2, 3 in December and has had a horrid start in life, her owner Is a friend of my friend (**** knows why)

cookie has lived in a kitchen without a bed or toys and barred from the front room. She is small for a Frenchie, has a heir lip and a deformity on her nose, she has a very short neck too, infected ears and a cracked nose, her face wrinkles have never been washed and she is nearly 2kg underweight for her breed.

Her owner would not pay for a c section, so her puppies got stuck, she had 7 altogether 5 were born dead and two survived, this was a month ago. One puppy died a few days after it was born and the last one died last week, her owner took the remaining puppy off her and kept returning it to torment her I don’t doubt (I hate him). Her previous owner also refused to get her spayed as he was planning to make £21 grand before he stopped breeding her. He also smacked her often.
Despite this cookie is absolutely fantastic! I’ve never had a Frenchie before she is a cuddling farting machine, she loves kids and is a dream to walk! I bonded with her as I helped with the puppies and I KNEW I had to have her and give her the very spoilt life my two other dogs have,
After weeks of pestering her previous owner didn’t want the hassle of taking her to the vets for her ears so he agreed to sell her to me for £1,600 (the most expensive rescue ever but she’s worth every penny)

cookie has definitely come back into season as my male dog frantically fancied her, she is bleeding but it’s not tons, I think it looks more because it’s thick and the amount changes throughout the day, she is booked into the vets next Wednesday for an MOT and a pre op assessment to get her spayed We have got coconut oil for her ears feet and nose (she loves to eat it too, just like anything she’s a greedy pig and I love it)
Considering her nose is non existent her breathing isn’t too bad either! She’s dog friendly too.

Our house is a bit of a mad house so considering she’s gone from no interaction to a room full of people she has done fantastic, she loves all the attention!

She didn’t know how to play but after a few days here she’s a bit of a loony when her toys are squeaked

I’m just wondering if anyone has any tips and tricks for me, any advice is welcome as frenchies are a new breed to me, id post a nice pic of her but I can’t figure out how to do it

thanks guys

Oh the poor girl, and what a terrible start in life she had. But boy did she get lucky when she found you! I'm wondering whether her previous owner is guilty of a criminal offence - not getting a C section when needed and allowing all those pups to die must be neglect, never mind the way he treated her, surely? And as for breeding from a dog with her deformities - and then asking £1,600 for her - there must be a special circle of hell for people like that:mad:

Hi, he’s an absolute monster! Under duress and threat to dob him in he took her to the PDSA who decided to leave her another 13 hours with w puppy stuck inside her so they were just as bad,
Also the girl died quickly and the boy puppy my friend took to the vets because the owner refused, he died a few hours later, probably stressed from being taken away and given back to mom over and over again, so unfortunately all dogs got treatment eventually and i cant report him.
He took the mick asking for that mug for her but I knew if I didn’t buy her he would breed her again especially with her going back into season, his plan was to breed her straight away as the delightful human is going to prison for having drugs and guns in his babies bag.
He didn’t realise she was in season luckily I kept it to myself and bought her!
Although you can actually see her deformities apparently she isn’t because she is kennel club registered? He is vile
No way in hell was she staying there to be smacked, bred and not fed. It doesn’t take a genius to know that if a dog is 2kg underweight and has just had babies it needs feeding nutritious stuff, chicken and fish and eggs. She wasn’t allowed any of it because he didn’t want to pay for it.
We can all live in hope that someone takes a dislike to him in prison
