Well on Monday Diamond showed signs of labour.

Here we are Saturday, temps have been up and down and still no sign :sweating:

Good luck on the impending birth...hope she dosnt keep you waiting too long... :sweating:

On a new laptop so can't resize pics. Will have to get that sorted!

Due last Wednesday but wondering if it's going to be a special Mothers Day present (w00t)

Hi Denise!

Lovely to think Diamond is having more babies!

We can't believe it's very nearly 3 years since Pearl came to us from Diamond's first litter...we love her dearly, and she is known in our house as "Princess Pearl"

Best wishes with the pups when they arrive...can't wait to see photo's.

Sarah (in Scotland)

Ahh, doesn't seem 3 years since Pearl was born. Time sure flies. Hope you are all well x

Well another night getting the sofabed out. Been on it since Monday and it's not getting any comfier, especially when a fat whippet fidgets all night!

Fingers crossed for tomorrow :luck:

Still no sign :sweating:

The pups are wriggling almost all the time and she is getting a little worked up!

We've gone right past the due date. What is the latest a Whippet will whelp?

What day is she on?

I do hope everything will be ok - after Maggiemay2's devastating experience with her beautiful Lola, I think I'd feel very wary after the 60 day point

Good luck :luck:

Yes. It helps a lot. I'm taking her to the vets tomorrow, I warned them!

Hope it goes well at the vets today and you soon have some little diamonds.

Good luck with the whelping Denise we want lots of pics!!!!

I got very emotional at 5 this morning. Well I am really tired.

For the first night in a while she didn't bother to get up for a wee or move about uncomfortable. At 5 this worried me and took me a while to get her off her bed.

I've done the same at 7.30am just to get her to drink something but she has gone straight onto the sofa. She won't budge!

Her temps are still pretty normal so we'll see what the vet thinks.

Good luck Denise, hope shes ok and there is some good news later today.... :luck: :luck: :luck:

*Update*

Visited the our vet this morning who referred Diamond to the Animal Hospital.

She had a scan and it looked like a few babies but they kept moving so the vet couldn't count! Anyway one of the heartbeats were a bit sluggish.

She has no signs of being in labour so the vet is doing a C section at 11.30am. The vet has sent me home to 'get things ready'!

Fingers crossed here but she is in the best possible care :luck:

Will be thinking of you and hoping that all goes well :luck: :luck: :luck:

good luck, hope all goes well, look forward to seeing pics
