A lovely bright and sunny day for racing today. A good turn out of 13 whippets and 11 lurchers. Nice to see some new comers in the lurchers, next year we are looking into putting a lurcher event on as they have given us a lot of support since we started the club up, everyone seems keen so we are willing to give it a go.

A very pleasant evening with 8 whippits and 14 lurchers racing. Nice to see some new lurcher owners, making for some very competitive racing. Dennis's lovely little bitch Sheer Pleasure, although she has been in season recently she is still holding her form and won the A final. Well done to Gill winning the B final with Mon Ami. Racing was 150 2ft/lb

thanks to everyone for making us so welcome, especially lynda and les (who did a fab job of holding onto and slipping Walter for me) also to everyone else (sorry can only remember names of sue and amanda) who helped to catch walt at the end of his runs - not an easy task....

looking forward to next week

Not many dogs racing tonight but still an enjoyable evening and we managed to get all trials finished after racing before it started raining. Racing was 150 2ft/lb
