Looking forward to sunday!!

After the heavy rain we've had over the last week Les managed to spend a couple of hours Monday night rolling the track and it looked spot on for racing. Thought we were going to get another soaking but it stopped raining as we started racing and it turned out to be a pleasant evening. There's some nice youngsters going onto the card, Mick and Gloria's So Classic as had 4 good races now and improving yardsa on every run, so to is Dean's Bolero a 31 pounder looking impressive coming off the back. N

Nice to see Joyce and Connor, both their bitches have been in season but Charisma's back where she left off, winning the A final. Good luck with Calamity Kate who has been mated to Just Friends, should be a nice litter. The B final was a nightmare for the judge with Mon Ami keeping her head infront of Unique and Bolero dead heating for 2nd and So Classic a head behind in 4th. Well done Colin winning the scr race. l think when Jo and Darren's Hellspell gets his trapping together he will make a handy sort.

Members of Notts & Derby send their heartfelt sympathy to Karen& George on the loss of their much loved dog "Duke" in a tragic freak accident on Wed's evening, all our thoughts are with you. Loades of people having their dogs checked over by Robert who spent a couple of hours at the track, most going away happy but one or two looking glum. Ken, Gina & Louise made their journey over the hills worthwhile taking the A final with their young bitch Ellie Ruth, definately one to watch, Mick & Gloria winning the B final with their youngster So Classic who also looked impressive and Kaths lovely big lad Who Knows winning the scratch race.
