Another lovely day yesterday, Quite a few dogs and some really good races. :thumbsup:

Thanks Les and Lynda for a friendly afternoons racing , the distance is just about right for me I havent got my confidence yet in the car but i'm getting there.The track was in perfect condition,stoppers all in tact, thanks for all the time you both put in Joyce

A bright and breezy day for todays racing, can't believe we've had to start watering from mid April but it has paid off as the track is in really good condition with plenty of grass on it. Some nice pups having hand slips others going full distance out of the traps, Sadies Diva having a couple of nice two dog trials and all comming of safe and sound.

A good turn out of 16 whippets and 4 lurchers tonight, and loads of trials. Don and Ruth's two going out of the traps for the first time and looked really impressive, Deans Bobby having his first two dog trial with Andys peddie Jack who's worth his weight in gold for schooling pups.Darren and Joes Blue having his f

irst run in company and no problems, and lots of youngsters having hand slips and loads of spectators creating a good atmosphere.

The dog who impressed me tonight was Dennis's Sheer Pleasure who ran really well in the A final

Quite a lot of dogs being checked over by Robert tonight getting any niggles sorted before the champs good luck to everyone competing. The youngest pups arenow progresing from handslips to full distance out of traps, all looking good none moreso than Yvonnes little 16lb Teddy out of Bound Too x Fizz, he flies the lids and runs so balenced its hard to believe hes only 9 and a half month old. An enjoyable evening with 15 whippets and 8 lurchers racing. The A final would have done any open proud, Ride A White Swan looking like she wasnt going to be caught but Classic Rock finding 5th gear at the 150 mark but Mister Bit was'nt going to be denied and threw himself over the line to win by a neck with Cookie a very close 4th, what a final

A bright and very blustery morning for racing today, its been weeks since we had any serious rain but the track is in great condition, its nice to know that members appreciate the effort that goes into watering it 3 times a week. Jo & Darrens Hells Spell had a fantastic run today with Pauls Just Peak both trapping well and running neck and neck with Hells Spell proving the stronger and winning by 2 lengths in a good time, the A final was a battle between Classic Rock and Sheer Pleasure with Classic Rock taking advantage of the 2ft/lb and winning by a length and a half. Racing was 150 2ft/lb.
