Lisa rang John earlier with the fantastic news that Electra won BEST IN GROUP at Hobart Royal today. :cheers:

I may be biased, :- " but I am constantly amazed at just how wonderful this bitch is and I consider myself very lucky to have bred her. She's returned to the ring after her 3rd litter and looks just as good as ever thanks to Lisa. And not only good looks, she's been a great producer too.

Whippets did quite well in the group taking out several class awards:

The judge for the royal is Mr A Spector (ARG) group 4 and his wife for General Specials. Noeleen didn't enter Tinker !

We have another show on Sunday she may have entered her in that. The group 4 judge for Dogfest on Sunday is Mr J Ross (Canada) does anyone know anything about him.

I can't remember if she's entered at Dogfest. She did tell me what she had entered but I can't remember it all - I'd have to go back and look at the email. But they have visitors at present and I think she can't go to every show she had entered.

I don't know anything about the Canadian judge, sorry. Lanny (Avalonia) might know.

Sorry Lana, I gave my catalogue to the BIS winner so they could enter the ozdog competition.

The people that have Colwhip, also have Collies (funnily enough the prefix now makes more sense to me!!) Apparently they were in whippets about 10 years ago when I was showing Jet (Ch Bonnymead Jet Stream) however I can't remember them!!!

As for the other one ... no idea, I had to hide behind cars for most of the day because Dad was showing (long story!!) so I didn't even get a look at the handler..

Maybe someone else can help??

Mr J Ross owns Counterpoint Whippets .. I think they have a website .. HAvent shown under him although has judged in NZ (Nth Island) a couple of times was just judging last wkend??

Thanks for that, We showed under him yesterday and had a good result, Mr Ross has great ring manners and speaking with him after the show found him to be a real nice guy.
