Great start to the lad's year - well done :cheers: Didn't realise there are fires at Perth - I have sent Jo a couple of emails & not had any reply - wonder if the lines of communication have been affected??????

Bummer Lana about cancelled shows, the weather this year has been stink to say the least - we cancelled a camping holiday in January cause it turned fowl & are meant to be off on Thursday & as luck would have it - the rotten wind & rain have arrived :rant: :rant:

Brie picked up another RCC & Puppy Of Group under Ley James on Sunday & Master Rio won his class of 3 against the big boys who are nearly out of puppy :wub: Only 1 more show in puppy for Miss Brie-bubbalina, next lot she is a puppy by one day & junior the next - we have John Thompson judging.
 
You should move down to the deep south Lynda 30 degrees today here meant to be good for the nxt few days .. but of course shows this weekend in Gore & its an outside venue :( so Im sure the sky will open up!!!

Actually this yr has been pretty good down here :D

Hi all,

whippet exhibitors had a lovely surprise at the second day of the Horowhenua Kennel Assn show on Sunday. Judge Mrs G Hovey of Qld brought over with her a beautiful "Best of Breed" sash, donated by Shalique kennels. I don't know if they are on the list, but this very lovely gesture was greatly appreciated. Thought I'd best post the results as a thank you!

Junior Bitch and JOB and RCC and RBOB and JOG: Ch Ronndal Ever After at Beesholme (Howell)

NZ Bred Bitch and CC and BOB and BOG: Ch Ronndal Elven Song (Ekstam)

Elven Song (Annie) was BOB and reserve of group the day before, with Jasper (Jack Sparrow) DCC and RBOB. Judge Saturday was Betty McHugh (Canada).

Really hot weather on the Sunday - I bought out the cold packsfor the dogs for the first time this summer.

Tokoroa KA and Brie's last day as a puppy, we had Mr Thompson from Australia, Miss Brie won RCC (AGAIN (w00t) (w00t) ) and then Runner up BOB & Puppy of Group. Young Master Rio won the puppy dog class of 3 & was RCC - so again, a lovely bridesmaid with the 2 youngsters - having said that, there are some lovely older dogs and bitches around, so I am pretty chuffed the kids are holding up their own.

So to the end of Brie's :wub: puppy career, she has managed to chalk up

4 X Puppy In Shows

1 X Minor Puppy In Show

7 x Puppy Of Groups

2 X 1ST Place Puppy Stakes Wins

2 X 3RD Place Puppy Stakes Wins

1 X 4TH Place Puppy Stakes Win

1 X CC

Numerous RCC's & RBOB's

It only seems like yesterday I was asking listers to come up with pedigree names for these critters and now they are one.

Shows this weekend with a chappy from India & a chapess from Australia.
